To combat Queen Marie-Antoinette's headaches, pharmacist Sulpice Debauve devised the first chewable chocolate in history, mixing chocolate with medicine to make it taste more pleasant.
The queen was seduced and named these medallions "Pistoles".
According to Sulpice Debauve, each recipe had a beneficial virtue, in keeping with his motto Utile Dulci!

Each pistol is engraved with a design inspired by La Reine's jewelry collection.
